Edition 8

Welcome to week eight - the final edition of “Headline”.

In our “Feature” section this week, Lassya Maksymyschyn (Shive) and Malcolm Cormack look back at the first eighteen months of Turtle Video, sharing their thoughts with the benefit of hindsight.

In “Profile” we look back at the “talk shows”- “The Last Three Years” hosted by David Grech, and the two “John Wray McCann Shows”.

“Backstage” has a special video that uncovers the difficulties in hosting “The Last Three Years” and a compilation of the “John Wray McCann Show” from 1977.

Poetry, a little “Polyhedra” and a chat with Arthur Stevens are on offer in our “Video” section.

“Gallery” is full of images this week - Setting up Westcom's Yarraville office, a co-op meeting at WREC, “The John Wray McCann Show” recorded in Williamstown and finally all the images we haven't shown you so far.

“Paperfile” has news on Turtles move in 1975, Video Newsreel, Westcoms Access Network and the documents that show the start and end of the co-operative.

So . . . thats it for the “Headline” . . . see you this Saturday night, the 8th of October at the reunion.

See you all then!
