The Last Three Years Goofs
In 1977, Director Gary Shaw asked David Grech to compere “The Last Three Years”. Recorded live to tape, the show originally ran for almost an hour and a half.
This was the first time David had hosted a program in front of a studio audience and managing the unexpected answers from guests along with technical problems was certainly a baptism of fire. However, in an era where people were unaccustomed to performing on videotape, David managed the difficult task from start to end.
This clip shows some of the difficulties David faced along the way. The closing scenes feature a number of young Cormacks.
