Edition 1

In 1977, Gary Shaw produced and directed a program called “The Last Three Years”. This show was created as a retrospective celebrating the first three years of Turtle Video's operation.

“The Last Three Years" was recorded live to tape in front of a studio audience at Turtle Video, 3 Freyer Street Williamstown.

Hosted by David Grech, the program featured many of the people who had been involved in Community Access Video in Melbourne's western suburbs.

This segment from the program is an interview with Malcolm Cormack and Lassya Maksymyschyn (Shive) who were the original Centre Directors of Turtle Video.

Malcolm and Lassya talk about the early days of community video in Melbourne and explain how Turtle Video began.
